Covered Bridge 2023

 

This year we concentrated on adding structure and more color with shrubs. We planted Winecraft Smokebushes, Korean Lilac and Summer Crush Hydrangeas. 

Another goal was to reduce the time spent watering. We added DIY Drip Irrigation to the planters filled with Annuals and lined a Sun filled bed with drought tolerant Walkers Low Catmint. 

The shade gardens are starting to fill out and we edged them with donated edging from a local resident. We brightened the shady beds with some much needed Chartruese Hostas and Hakanchloe Grasses.
