In the Fall of 2020, member of the Covered Bridge Committee had some interested children stop by to watch us plant daffodil and tulip bulbs. Asking us questions, and very interested in the auger we used. Before we knew it, we were surrounded by smiling faces who were happy tp pitch in! and happy Mom's enjoying taking pictures of their kids learning about gardening.
The interest level ranged from "that's gross!" when looking at the root portion of a bulb, to "wow" when the drill auger was used to plant the hole. It was a very memorable day, which these women will never forget!
